AC/DC.

On the bright side, Axl's been singing AC/DC songs live for a while now, as they cover at least one per show usually, and he sounds surprisingly good.

Still should've been Marc Storace.

I'm still gonna give this gig a whirl. Would of preffered Brian but I'll see how it goes. £90 quid is a bit steep for it though.

Am old enough to have seen Johnsons first UK gig with them, then took my lad to Birmingham on the first Black Ice tour. Rose may well be able to sing AC/DC songs, but he is a billion miles away from an AC/DC singer/band member imo.

Circus now.

I agree. Unfortunately for instrumentalists when the lead singer is unavailable, for what ever reason, the band is more or less done. Led Zeppelin being the biggest and greatest example. I can't see refunds being avaliable, so I'll give it a whirl. The biggest advantage for us will they'll be 12-15 gigs into this tour so hopefully on top of their game by then and reviews will be avaliable, so I/we know what to expect.

It will probably be quite good, and if they are doing it just to complete the tour, then fair dos. At least Rose knows how to front a stadium band.

Actually, on reflection, it might be interesting to see what stuff they could record. Lets face it, Johnson was a rubbish contributor there. And with Malcolm gone as well...lets see.

Sorry mate, but Rose is one of the biggest weapons to ever grace the planet.

It's a massive no from me
Oh no he is, I'm aware, seen him be a knob live as well, utter waste of oxygen.

Sound-wise though - it might work. I'm talking about him as a singer, everyone knows his personality is crap, to say the least.

Hello Ian how are you today,

Never got used to Johnson's "screech" voice Bon Scott was a huge miss for them - now they've replaced a singer who "can't hear" with a singer who can't "sing" Pack in lads
