Doucs has been such an important player for us and when he leaves the club he can do so with his head held high knowing that his goals have literally saved us from oblivion. He’ll never have anything but my respect and would clearly go out on his shield for the club.

That doesn’t change the fact that watching Everton with Doucoure makes me want to tear my eyes out and under no circumstances can we kick on with him in the team.

We did the same with Distin 15 years ago, and a month into the season we all knew it was ridiculous... Doucs hasn't been anywhere near Distin levels so it would be a really silly move to give him one

Exactly how a lot of folks seem to think, but I have a bad feeling Moyes doesn`t feel the same way. Its horrific enough the thought of him being offered a new deal, but even worse is the thought of him being a constant starter for another 2 or 3 years.

I think I'll give up watching Everton all together if he gets another contract extension

I simply can't be doing with 99.9% of moves breaking down from a fella who is closest to the striker yet doesn't have a pass in him to assist anyone but the opposition time after time after time after time.
