Really ineffective today. Even when he is effective we know it's a hard watch but he does make things happen. Complete opposite today. Made so many poor decisions.

While he’s scored important goals for us as far as footballing ability goes he’s crap, and unfortunately for us we have as much crap or worse in almost every position. We’ve overachieved this season and luckily even with a points deduction still managing to look down for how much longer I’m not sure but we can have no complaints as the side we’ve put together is absolute trash and is championship standard. Obviously as fans we will complain as none of it is our doing and again this club remains dysfunctional from top to bottom

Teams know his ability outside the box is nonexistent so they just let him play himself into giving the ball back, which hilariously works every single time.

Said it in the match thread too but it shows now that teams don't bother pressing him as hard but double team any of our wingers/central mids and striker.

Issue is we need to get away from players like this and stop lording him if he scores now and then. It papers over the cracks at how bad we are. Sadly for this club he's got a goal in him now and then and they're as rare as rocking horse sh!t here.

So true about all our players really. A decent spell of form and we elevate them into something they're not.

With regards to Doucoure specifically, it can often look especially bad because the forward he's supporting also struggles to control the ball and is mainly there to be a pest to the opposition.

Yep.
But you know the drill on here. Odd few games doing ok and its give them 100k a week.
He's as bog standard as you can get technically.
