I hate football
Hello all. As well as spending a life eternally frustrated by our beloved football club I have been known to turn my arm over for a very small and overachieving village cricket club.

We have been placed into a quandary this year, having been mandated by our overlords to install showers at the club in order to continue playing in the upper reaches of our league structure. The issue being is that our club is located quite literally in the middle of nowhere; half a mile down a farm track in the midst of the rolling Warwickshire countryside. Beautiful? Yes. Practical? No. Getting mains electricity to the ground is a huge undertaking - it would cost us almost half a Seamus Coleman.

We have an opportunity to get a grant from Calor which we can use to install solar panels to resolve our lack of power issues - HOWEVER, we need votes in order to qualify for the second round of the scheme and be formally assessed.

So. if you are inclined to help out a fellow Toffee (albeit a massive wool one) I would be hugely grateful if you could spend a few minutes registering and voting for our project on the link below

Additionally, if you're local to us, play cricket and fancy a game then please let me know </salespitch>

cheers guys

Best of luck

I was tenderly dreaming of Clara
(On her not a girl is a patch)
When, ah horror ! There soared through the air a
Decidedly possible catch.

Thank you P G Wodehouse.

Ten points winging its way.
