A roving Felli?

Moyes now has the availability to rotate depending on the opposition; teams like Utd, Arsenal etc won't be able to cope with Felliani in the final third so I'd expect him to play there against certain teams; then against the lesser technical teams he will be deployed in a more natural midfield position and dominate.

Same with Osman, Niamsith, Mirallas and even Neville; they will be used to suit the opposition

This. Against your Arsenal's and Citehs where he is going to annoy and frustrate the centre backs and giving Jela time to get into a position to slot one.
Against your Wigans and Stokes where he can just sit , pick the ball up and spray it wide and dominate in the centre of the park is what i think Moyes should do.
We'll see like, We'll see.

The thing is when we play Reading, Norwich, Southampton etc. I want to see good football. While we played some neat stuff last night there were a few long balls up to Fellaini.

Fellaini deep, Neville out, Mirallas in.

That, would be liquid football.

At DM we don't get nearly enough out of him, plus Gibbo does a great job there. Just give him license to roam and he'll be difficult for managers to prepare for, tactically.

Agreed.

I also don't subscribe to the thought that we don't play good football with Fellaini close to the goal. Mainly because we do. They went to the well quite a bit last night, but Fellaini is very good in the box with his head and his feet.

Well yes this is what I'd go for.

Him and Gibson were great last year because Gibson was disciplined and didn't roam. He allowed Felli to do that.

I don't think Felli is best as an ACM though because when he comes back we've basically got one proper forward on the pitch and he looks isolated. I'd rather have Osman or Mirallas or someone supporting Jelavic and Fellaini sititng deeper but roaming freely.

It's less about Fellaini but more who'll come into the side. If Felli plays further up it's Neville, if Felli plays further back it will be someone like Osman/Naimsith/Mirallas. Against United fair enough, but against teams where we'll be expected to dominate creatively, then I'd rather have one less DM and one more attacking player.

I'm glad some people can see it.
