I will start this feel good thread off. Even now, there is still some doom and gloom merchants kicking round in here. we have consolidated our place as the Best of The Rest. We would have been higher but for inconsistency and bad refereeing. Normally we could say "we are lucky to be this high" but no. Moyes and the Boys have shown us the light. this time, we are unlucky not to be higher.

So Bollocks to the criers, the misery pedlars, and the RS. We are The Grand Old Team, we are The Toffeemen, and By [Poor language removed], we are back to what our History dictates we should be. For the memory of Labby, for the memory of Bally, for the memory of Dixie dean, for the memory of every lucky blessed sod who has ever played for and/or supported us, and for the memory of why we were chosen.

NICE ONE LADS, THE BOARD, THE MANAGEMENT, THE BACKROOM STAFF, THE PLAYERS, THE LADIES SQUAD, THE FANS, [Poor language removed] IT, EVEN THE BALL BOYS, I THANK YOU ALL FOR LIGHTING UP MY LIFE AND MAKING ME WISH NEXT SEASON STARTED TOMORROW

great post! execpt the history comment..we finished 5th yes, but we all know we should have finished higher but its progression just, we made significant inroads in the uefa cup, but at the same time also won nothing while shitty spurs won the carling cup, and 2 insignificant team battle for the fa cup, but then we can have pride in finishing in a uefa spot again...it is really time for bully to hand out that promised cash..with utd winning the league , we get 1mill from the rooney deal..but i also hear we get another 4 or 5 mill if they win the champions league...wishful thinking that part i bet lol

THE BOARD
your joking right?

Thats why I put "unlucky not to finish higher" but I understand your point. My whole motivation is progression is being made, and strong progression. I am flying on cloud 9. 3 euro positions in 4 years. We are on the up.

(insert Yazz song)

Nope. This is a happy thread. I am a happy person. peddle somewhere else.

sorry if you don't agree. but others do. we are entitled to be happy as you are entitled to not be happy.

The Board Got us Moyes. I thank them for that if anything

but the board had nothing to do with this, it was walter smith who found moyes and got him in through kenwright. but i see your point :)

Walter Smith didn't risk his bollocks and appoint him though did he? Kenwright deserves enormous praise for appointing Moyes.

I'd praise the board for consecutively breaking our record transfers, Beattie, AJ and Yak.

Please
keep Any talk of Kirkby or criticising the board will be removed from this thread. Use the other threads for that.

Well said Gazdalf! Its always been a pleasure to watch Everton, no matter when or where, how good or how bad we play. This season we really gave everything a go, we had good cup runs, a terrific run in the league and great support throughout.

To nullify the negativity about the board thats been brought up in this feel-good thread, thank the board for getting in Moyes, for supporting him in the market when required, breaking our transfer record over and over in the past seasons, having the patience to wait for our slow development reach amazing heights. Yep, this season has been a good 'un. We've stumbled in the final month but we've had some great times this season, not least the European nights. Hopefully a good close season will see Cahill and Arteta complete a full season un-injured and we'll add a bit extra to various places too. Roll on August.

Some might say we were lucky to finish 5th whereas I'd say we were unlucky not to finish higher.

How many calls (Carragher hauling down Lescott, AJ's goal disallowed, etc...) that we probably should have gotten and didn't made a difference on how many points we should have had?

A big "Well Done" to Everton FC and this year just confirmed for me why I love being an Everton supporter.

Nice post Gaz !! (y)
