Dear David, upon looking on the official Everton site's player roster, I noticed we have someone called "Diniyar Bilyaletdinov" amongst our ranks. Apparently he cost us £9 million last year, and was highly rated in his homeland.

Seeing as this season, we are -- for lack of a more eloquent phrase -- bombastically [Poor language removed], would it be possible for you to try playing this Russian guy?

I have attached a video clip I found on youtube so you can have a look at him. I think he looks quite good, personally, even with the pre-pubescent tache. He also seems to have a knack for scoring some double-take inducing goals, from out of nowhere. I'd say we need that.

Thanks Davie.

theres not many goals better than his portsmouth goal , everyone wants to score a goal as good as that..

he has by far got the best shooting technique in the squad imo.
he had no right to score 2 or 3 of those goals and pulled them out of nowhere.

if that was a video of a player at another club id be saying "sign him up"

Its funny how everyone was complaining about how [Poor language removed] Bily was when he was playing, but are calling now for him to play.

Ive always liked Bily and I completely agree RFUS.

If he doesn't get unleashed in January, I would be amazed. He has to get a start now surely. He appears to have been a true pro whilst sat on the bench, no moaning etc, just needs to start now, no more 2 mins to run the clock down!

He's not good enough lids. Only shows glimpses in games. Will never be consistent enough to make it in the premiership.
Gone in January if a decent bid comes in IMO.

Notice a lot of those goals are of him running onto the ball... From a Cahill type position

I used to think he was disinterested and lazy, but he's not. He was tired last season, understandably, and he's been demotivated this season -- even more understandably. He's had so little game time it's shocking, and unfair, and the fact that he's not come out to the press bitching is commendable really, in today's game.

Depends how well he plays when he gets his chance (assuming he will get one when Cahill goes) - you can't ignore the fact that he had a terrible spell. Hopefully he's getting more used to the whole idea of playing in the Prem now.

Maybe maybe not.

But considering our problem is apparently not scoring enough goals from team play it seems pretty stupid to have a guy on the bench who CAN score goals from nothing.

And can he really do any worse then the players playing at the moment?

I think we have everything to gain and nothing to lose from either giving him a good run starting in the team at am or at least giving him 30 mins as a sub. Rather than 3.

The really disappointing thing is, I don't think he's ever been given the chance. We've crippled his confidence, make no mistake.

It's the managers job to get the best out of him. The talent is clearly there.

The fact he rarely gets minutes must surely mean his attitude in training is bad. There has been games where we all are crying out for him to get on the pitch, yet he stays on the bench. To me that says it all. It says that Moyes has no faith in him.

He's certainly no VDM in his actions off the field, because clearly he keeps his mouth shut and does not appear to like the high life. It does seem he must be like him in training tough, as he must not be impressing anyone enough to even get 30 mins here and there.

I'm sure he's like Osman. We really need to play him in the centre to get the best out of him.

Sadly, Moyes will never do this. Which is really infuriating. I came very close to saying some rather nasty things about Mr. Moyes then, which is incredible for me.

He could be our Rafael Van der Vaart. Same position, similar types of players. But he's not being given a go. Infuriating.
