in relation to the hands up on corners i think it is some sort of indication as to where the ball is played or what training ground routine should be used...and since he does it every time i assume it means "fuk sake you know i cant reach that far its going the near post!"

Well Bradley is 6'1" and is pretty good at knocking in corners.

We really miss Cahill on corners. Despite the fact that he's not very tall he always seemed to get a touch on the ball. In my opinion the only player better at getting a hold of corners in the prem is Ballack.

cahill cant play in a 4-4-2 system, I think today dispelled the fact we missed him or even arteta..manny had a blinder of a game, fantastic deliveries..shame the little lads couldnt get onto those kicks of his[manny]
The two touch and go was sublime in parts.

Bentley id prefer, but the [Poor language removed] will no doubt sign him

no to crouch..i wouldnt want him anywhere near our ground, we dont need the [Poor language removed] castoffs..saying that alonso isnt too bad, but he is too inconsistant really.

All the top sides have 4 quality strikers...we have 1 in the Yak, we need another 3 strikers...lets sell the over rated anichebe he isnt good enough period...he scores a few goals and suddenly he is the maradonna's of this world..and the other is of course Johnson...complete waste of 8.5million regardless of his injuries...2 quality men up front and a couple of quality midfielders with a holding / defensive midfielder and a right back and a bigger squad with squad rotations now and then, and we would have likely been fighting for 3 or 2nd place, and would have wrapped up the uefa cup in style.

My hopes for the summer:

Keep Moyes and the players we have.. with the exceptions of VdM... ;-)

GK: A backup for Howard, now that we've let Wessel leave.. Sad, I thought he did a good job when he got the chances.

Defenders: Yes, one or two CD/RB. I know that the ones we have are good, but we need cover and choises. Hibbert mixes very good performances with bad ones and a good cover for Yobo/Lescott/Jags in the middle, especially if we go far in the cups so they can get a rest when they need to. Not sure Gardener is the player we need there either.

Midfielders: A backup for Cahill! It has shown this season that we loose speed and we're not as dangerous in front of goal when he's out. We need one who can fill his shoes.. We also need someone to cover Arteta and help out with the creativity in midfield. Fernandes is one posibility, but I don't think he's the final solution for that position.

Forwards: One more striker would be ideal, Vaughan is unfortunately injuryprone, Anichebe is getting better but still need a year or two I think to reach his full potential, AJ & Yakubu are our two proven scorers and we need a third one... Roque Santa Cruz would be a nice addition or Elmander.

gattusso for the middle, as a back up for riquelme obviously
lita up front,if he's avail for right price
and i dont reckon those 3 would take up much of the budget
