However, In terms of opponents overcome. If we lift the trophy on May 30th, will it be the most deserving of FA Cup victories of all time?

Macclesfield
Liverpool
Aston Villa
Middlesbrough
Man Utd
Chelsea

4 of the top 5, has there even been a team who have had a harder run and prevailed?

Sure as hell more impressive than Portsmouth last year..

Ipswich
Plymouth
Preston
Man U
West Brom
Cardiff

I reckon the 2 liverpool ties by themselves were harder than Pompey's entire FA cup run..

Absolutely no question, Arsenal were either the 1st or 2nd Premiership team that Chelsea played & that was in the semi final. You can only beat what's in front of you but you can go really far in the Cup without beating many good teams, Portsmouth being an excellent example.

There's no doubt that we've done it the hard way this year & it's all the more sweeter because of it

It must be among the very best FA cup runs ever, if not the best. So many things could've ****ed it up too;

Howard's last minute save vs Macclesfield
If the Liverpool replay had gone to penalties
If we hadn't rallied in the second half against Boro after the poor first half
If Welbeck had got the penalty yesterday
If Berbatov had been arsed

It's what the cups all about though :D. Magic.

Name written on the cup?....

No such thing. I don't want to assign the credit for our run so far to fate or anything else other than the hard work of our players and manager.

PML at that 1. More could have swung it than that or the penalty appeal by Welbeck though. Riley not getting the job & taking the piss with nearly every bloody decision being 1, a United player getting his head on a corner right at the death when Cahill was just behind him ready to slam a header in being another

Still, we got through & that's all I care about

Not forgetting one replay and two lots of extra time against the top two clubs - 5 1/2 hrs in all. I seriously doubt any cup finalist has done that before.
