A hypothetical World's Best for Everton

Here's the scenario. As the Everton Manager, you were handed a blank cheque to buy the WORLD'S BEST player.

Given the current Everton line-up, would you buy the world's best striker or the world's best keeper?

You CAN NOT change your remit (as in buy two great players, one striker and one keeper, but not necessarily the world's best.) It is a choice only between world's best striker and keeper money can buy.

And why?

I think it's a pretty standard question, no need to for the put down there buddy.

A striker, without doubt. Doesn't even have to be the world's best, just someone willing to put the effort in and score a few.

hm i think its harder then you think. would you rather iker casillas or rooney? keepers form doesnt fluctuate like a strikers.

Striker - I think our goalie's pretty decent already; frankly, there's not many I'd trade for, and that's including Iker.

And I wouldn't take Rooney - he's a whiner. Essien on the other hand is a great suggestion.
