1 -- When Anichebe comes on you know its all over.

2 -- Phil Neville should in no way be a starter

3 -- Mirallas should be on the right wing cutting inside

4 -- Naismith looks short of fitness

5 -- We need a right back

6 -- Hopefully FIFA clear the belgian

The best part of the transfer window for me was when I read we were bidding for Butland. Eagle eyed posters may have seen me comment on him being a possible good signing last week. I havent even seen the guy play apart from the summer BUT he would have been excellent to push Howard and groom into a top keeper.

Big miss there, just like when we missed Hart at shrewsbury when Moyes was unable to afford 250k.

We never bid for Butland mate. Sky made it up so they could get two stories for one by also then rubbishing it.

I disagree with your concerns with Anichebe coming on. These are the exact sort of games you want him coming on in. It was a game of bad ball controll and lazy passing. We needed the chebes to bash his way through a score a scrapy goal at some point. Our team looked to flimsy today without Gibbo and Felli bossing as usual. I mean Osman, Pienaar, Naismith were just bullied in midfield. We needed Anichebe's strength. But haters gonna hate.

Naismith was always wondering infield, which meant Hibbo was always isolated with his only option to fling a mediocre cross in form deep. This also meant every one had to shift across to cover the space left from hibbo going upfield and naismith cutting in.
This left us very vulnerable to the counter which resulted in their first goal and morrisons shot just before the half, to name a few. We looked super open at the back and WBA took advantage to their credit. If they had better firepower they should have had a few more me thinks.

I agree with points 4 and 6. Happy with Hibbo at RB and still not decided on Neville

One of the biggest criticism's of Moyes IMO.
Over 10 years, and he still hasnt bought in a quality right back.

Here here mate. Hibbo is a legend but is nothing but limited as a footballer. I mean 10 years without even attempting to get a footballing RB in!

We're back down to earth with a bump today, but let's be realistic and honest - 6 points for 3 games is a good return especially with our notoriously bad starts of late.

We have finally got the makings of a squad and tbh Albion are a strong side this season. So let's reasses and then come out all guns blazing for another pumped up Monday night against newcastle!

we dont need another right back. hibbert is one of the best in the league possibly in the world. We needed something today but i dont think it was a right back

thats where he should be - he had a belter against man u upfield but they were under strength.. his best position is deeper in the middle, and with nacy and/or mirales we should have enough up there to support jela.. think back to the man u game - we had a back four AND gibbo and neville in front of them...too defensive ... drop nev and put felli there so he can get up if needed but more importantly he and gibbo can run the show and control the ball and pace ... we lost today because we didnt keep possession or pass clean and crisp like the first 30 mins at villa.

Fellaini should be in defensive midfield.

I will hope he's there every game once Mirallas is fully fit.

Maybe a lesson for everyone today inc mr moyes

Fellaini ACM doesn't mean we're unbeatable
Neville ossie CM is poor

If Gibson is not on pitch I think it's essential Fellaini plays deeper. Thankfully we'v signed another CM. I don't have the hatred of Neville and ossie as some do but they are both squadies IMO and if there playing together in cm in a tough game we have a problem.

Can't wait for a fully match fit squad still think a Gibson Fellaini CM partnership with pienaar Naismith and mirallas behind jelavic will be the most potent option we have.

Anyways maybe a early season reality check for our player that u gota be at ur best every game or that is what will happen!

Coyb!! Still very optimistic..

You've gotta be on a wind up mate! I'm no expert but tony is no where near the best RB in the league. He probably isn't even the best RB in his family!!!

I'll agree that we needed more than a RB today but Hibbert throws the balance of the team. Everything is forced to come down the left because he's limited as a player. So if you stop us on the left you stop us. A good footballing RB will give our team the balance it desperately needs.

We have Coleman, Hibbert and Neville who can play right back, with the little money we ever get we're forced to spend It on positions we dont have many players for, Unfortunatly we can't afford to go a sign a replacement for every position.
