This article says that Australia is calling in reinforcement. Is there any other sport that allows this???

Once a team is picked, I would have thought that that's it! I can't imagine a basketball, football, league, hockey teams calling in reinforcements.

Is this a unique feature of cricket?

The Squad is picked FOR EACH GAME , separately .

One picked , a Substitute can FIELD , BUT NOT BAT OR BOWL ,...

When they say Re-Enforecements ,...

Think ; the Alamo ,...
