English referee's love to hate Andy Johnson right now, because of his reputation, thanks by the way Agents Wenger, Mourinho and Warnock for that.

Most Evertonians will accept that when Johnson joined the club he would go down every time there was contact. However, November last 2006 and Warnock began the Johnson is a diver campaign. Comments in the following 3 weeks from Mourinho and Wenger, labelling the English forward a cheat. (A bit rich Wenger, the man who see's the least of games in English football, and Mourinho - Robben? Drogba?) And from there on in the decision was made for referee's, if Johnson goes down he has dived.

Everton then failed to receive a penalty the rest of the season in the league, prompting Moyes to send a video with 12 incidents to Referee chief Hackett. He agreed that 9 of the decision should of resulted in a penalty, from the angle the referee see's alone.

Nothing has changed though, Johnson is labeled a cheat, there's no way back as it will always be in the back of a referee's mind when making a call. Everton have incidentally not received a penalty in the league so far this season.

How far can Liverpool's record signing be from getting a similar reputation. Fernando Torres in the first 25 minutes of their game against Inter Milan at Anfield, succesfully completed 2 dives and dispatched Marco Matterazzi from the field. Clearly learning well from Steven Gerrard textbook diving routine. Speaking of Liverpool's captain why does he not have a reputation and Johnson does?

Why do certain players get the reputation, and not others?

We have got to thanks Warnock, for giving our AJ such reputation, god damn it he must have nothing better to do, what do you guys think? Would AJ ever get a PK in a league game?

its difficult to appropriate so much FA and referee sway to one season warnock especially when compared to heavy weight ass hole inbred [Poor language removed] wits like mourinho and the sheer epitome of hypocrisy wenger. (who is also an utter ****)

im struggling to associate anything else apart from some core beliefs to this situation.

for too long the powers that be have dictated that the underlings do as told and not follow example.

Sure he'd get a PK, as long as the defender took out a shotgun and let him have it with both barrels, spattering the ref with blood and gore....

..on reflection, probably not even then...:dodgy:

I was thinking about this during one of our home games this season, everytime AJ is entitled to go down, he tries his damndest to stay on his feet, but does he get anything for it? Does he [Poor language removed]? He's treated differently these days, we would have had 3 or 4 pens this season from him alone had he not been tarred with the diver brush.

When you look at all the other bastards who get away with it, it makes it all that much worse.

Nah, not even.

Ref would say that he didn't have a good angle and wave play on. (n)
