Scouse

Player Valuation: £2.5m
So it was Ewood Park where it all began,
on a bright suny day when temperatures soared,
big Tim dropped the ball,
Kalinic snook in, took advantage and scored.

First up at Goodison Mick an' his Wolves,
Heiti and Saha oh what a mistake,
our lead was gone,
Thanks to Ebanks-Blake.

On to Villa and no Martin O'Neil,
a 1-0 defeat some started to moan,
it was 1 point from 9,
with 5 in midfield and Beckford alone.

United at home always a battle,
3-1 down with only 20 odd to go,
a double substitution,
and an injury time show.

Newcastle and Fulham only 1 point,
seeing us struggle now that was vile,
come the end of September,
we were bottom of the pile.

A league win at last,
we had waited so long,
2-0 at Brum,
it was time for a song.

The Red $hite at home,
and a 2-0 win,
Cahill and Arteta,
dumped Gerrard in the bin.

By the end of October we were up into 7th,
who could forget Bainseys curling free-kick,
then a home win v Stoke,
were we startin' to click?

November passed by without a win,
West Brom were a team of no real repute,
they thumped us 4-1,
a result we couldn't dispute.

Chelsea away,
and a one all draw,
get in Beckford son,
what a crackin' time to score.

Nil-nil with Wigan,
then City away,
a 2-1 win,
and a great team display.

The boxing day thaw,
a birsting of pipes,
no striker upfront,
and back came the snipes.

So far we've been poor,
all........including Arteta,
My half term report..................
WE MUST DO BETTER!!!
