Great deal for the club. This just shows were moving in the right direction on an off the pitch.

I know its not a big as some shirt sponsers out there. But for an "unfasionable" club, 45% rise is agreat bit of business.

I dont know about this one, didnt Spurs get close to 30 mill for their madison sponsership! I could be wrong but if thats the case i think its a poor deal.

I hope to god they didnt jump into another Chang deal without bringing the brand to the market pace for any other potential investors.

Yeah I would have liked to have seen a better deal.

I also don't think we are an unfashionable club - so perhaps we should start to command better deals.

Good grief, that's a shocking deal. Spurs earn around £8m each season from there deal (£34m over four years). Man Utd earn £56m over four years.

Check this out. With the increasing exposure offered to the PL by overseas tv deals those figures should rise tremendously. £2.66m per year for a club in 5th place and in Europe is poor. Look at what Newcastle were getting ffs.

This is the area where the club really fails to impress. Yet they tell us its a major coup when in reality it isn't.

This announcement with the India FA, so what? How many quality Indian footballers do you know? I would sooner put down stronger roots in the US.

North West Africa. Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria etc. Is where i would put an academy. A few of the dutch teams have them out there but I still think the area is relatively untapped. I think most coaches are scared to coach out there and there is probably also an issue with passports. No more an issue than India mind.

With our nigerian connections we could be quite popular out there!
Would also stop a loud of fourteen year old kids travelling to France or spain in the belief they are getting a trial at Barcelona.

Yeah, I just think and always have thought are marketing policies are [Poor language removed].

The whole JJB debacle is ridiculous. Which other club has an exclusivity with once retailer. All this does is limits the amount of sales you can get. I've been to JJB Sports and we have less stuff on sale than Liverpool.

I don't think the Indian thing has anything to do with getting players. I think it's about getting customers. The Indian middle class is growing very quickly indeed. I don't know if football will ever take hold in such a cricket mad country, but if it does then the potential market is huge.

Brice am i missing somthing?? spurs get 4.7m a season where's the 8m. It makes us the 7th best deal in the prem. Thats a step in the right direction for me. We aint won anything yet. Plus we are starting to lose the unfasionable tag but it it still their.

So not the best choice. Would Chelsea or Man U look at them as potential markets?

http://www.abcmoney.co.uk/news/1520062387.htm reports £34m over four years. Indeed the same figure is reported on the Football Economy website so I don't know quite what they're doing with that table unless the figure rises each year.

Now sure, against some other clubs it may be a reasonable deal or it may not. The 32Red/Villa deal signed in 2006 is said to be around £1m a year, so we do better than them.

But then you have Fulham arranging a £3m per year deal with LG Electronics, or Liverpool earning £7.5m per year with Carlsberg. Crappy old Bolton managed to get £2m per year way back in 2004! Newcastle are said to get £5m per year from Northern Rock of all companies.

Well maybe not as good as i first thought but its still a step in the right direction. maybe in 3 years, when we'v won a few trophys an are in the champions league regular we'll have a stronger hand to deal with.

we'v been in the doldrums for so long. its hard to get noticed at the moment. just look at the media coverage we get.sponcers notice this stuff.

Dont think winning things will change much, i mean what the [Poor language removed] have spurs won. Really dont know how these things work, it seems to be a who you know scenario. i.e what contacts your chief exec has :(
