15 of the 22 players knew what they were playing for today, great game full of passion. I watched it again on setanta tonight and it was a good game of footy :)

Anichebe is Nigerian, (even though he's lived in Liverpool since he was three or something)

and you also missed out Aston Villas Craig Gardener

So you were right that 15 of the starters were English, also Villa briught on a young striker towards the end, Nathan Delofounso, he's English too.

It's great to see that many English starters in an all Prem FA cup tie

If Arsenal ever get Liverpool then you'd be lucky to see more than 3.

Ghost does have a point. 15 out of the 22 players being English and the game had great pace, skill, passing and technique rather than a hoof-ball, hard tackling, skill-lite game you would generally associate with the "english game" filled with "english players"

British managers too. Great use of tactics, team selection etc. It just championed the fact there is is british talant that can play at a high level if given a chance.

Victor might be Nigerian by birth, but he's culturally an English lad nonetheless.

Personally I couldn't care less where our boys are from, as long as they take pride in what they do and which team they represent.

Anyone can be an Evertonian.

As always, spot on.
