They'd have to accept massive pay cuts if we did. What do you think the salary range is for a reserve championship player? 15k perhaps? I guess Coleman is on 70-80k and Young probably on more. Thankfully I think Young would try and go to a newly promoted team if we did drop.

If we somehow did keep both on the same salary then I'm done with the club! (...more likely the club would be done tbh with that kind of decision making)

There is quite simply no way Ashley Young plays for another football club once he’s left us.

Young can’t be on 80k a week.. there was only us and Luton interested in the summer. Surely half that at best..

Are you sure Seamus is on that much, I thought he was given a new one year contract for this season and I’d be amazed if Young was on anything like £70 - 80,000 per week, mind you this is Everton and Kenwright was still in charge of signing off contracts when they were given out.

Most likely scenario the same as Forest, taking the weekend for fact checking / not disrupting a game and verdict released on Monday. Not out of the question we hear today though.

Correct on both counts, I would say if both are on 30k-40k then they are doing very well.
