6 + 2 Point Deductions

Surely if they go up the best case scenario for Leicester is the 6 points we were hit with
Honestly have no idea whwt if they dont go up will that deduction wait untill the do go up. Or would they refuse it like they have done in the championship is going to be chaos for them if they dont come up will be hit hard. Sad thing again can you even trust this process to even deal with them fair

We all have suspicions that this is actually the case. I certainly do.
Definitely what happened the first time. We got 10 points because otherwise we wouldn't have been in the relegation zone. The Premier League are praying neither us or Forest get relegated so they're seen to have acted tough but not affected their competition.

I hope the reason we have been so meek about it all, no fuss, no commotion, is that we have made a deal. Behave ourselves and the second punishment will be a ‘suspended sentence’.

Massive wishful thinking, but I have to have some hope, otherwise I will lose my mind.

the perversity of the PSR farce is that without it, we would have had a decent season this time around, similar with Forest, they'd have been probably safe.
I think the perversity is, when we had a squad full of overpaid wasters that we'd paid a fortune for, we didn't get done. Now we have a squad full of cheap triers we get done! Go figure!

Can't get a suspended sentence for a second offence. The Premier League can decide on a "double jeopardy" rule though.

Can’t they suspend? The last commission said suspension can’t work. But each commission can start with a blank sheet of paper and disregard every word of the previous hearings, even point out where they disagree. And there is no documented rules about how to deal with a second offence. Can’t use criminal proceedings as a guidance.

Though fully agree it would be highly highly unlikely in a sporting context. If we are continuing to trend in the right direction, a suspended punishment (given the 23/24 accounts close in 3 months anyway) is effectively being let off for nothing, which is never happening. They’d need an amazing reason to let us go unpunished, like a miniscule breach. Our so called mitigations are already in the bin.

We're the only club that could ever be charged for 2 breaches in 1 season so suspending any points deduction to next season sounds like the only fair solution to me (assuming there is a points deduction at all).
Forget that, we don't want a points deduction next season. Also that would be seen as a reward for delaying our initial charge
