6 + 2 Point Deductions

There is also the possibility of relegated clubs from last season waiting to pounce after the results of the appeal are known.
A significant reduction in the scale of the points deduction will have them on the phones to their lawyers based on the secret meetings they had with the PL last year which seemed to indicate a prime face case for suing Everton.

It’s a mess of the PLs own making and will generate more negative headlines for the brand and for employees such as Richard Masters.
They have no case.

They've already said they wont be continuing legal action, can we knock this one on the head please.

Interesting thought is that premier league clubs are prevented from suing each other yet the KC argued there was potentially a case for damages ie a legal claim

I hope to god we’re looking through the PL rule books, civil, crown and European routes to sue the PL.

I understand this appeal is the end of this process, but I’d love to think we’re approaching this now like a big boy saying “we’ll see you in court outside of this “kangaroo court”

I’m pretty sure that’s what the big barrister is for

We should have got a proper lawyer in when we were charged, rather than pleading guilty.

Forrest signing more players. Something tells me they have had a tap on the shoulder and told to only expect a transfer ban..

Their Johnson profit will affect the next 3 year cycle. And buying players whose cost is spread over 3 or 4 years means they will have wiggle room if their last breach was close. Unlike us their bad news can be curtailed, ours (hideous interest) is ongoing.
To be fair, if you actually have money behind you and think you can improve the squad to a level where you can absorb a deduction, you may as well do that.

I know in the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter a jot but I have stopped watching and won't be watching the league again until it is sorted out and made fair. I haven't been to a game for a while and probably won't be anytime soon due to circumstances but I will do my own little protest.
I reckon that you will never watch a game again then.

So be it, it's not very enjoyable anyway, I won't miss much will I because at the moment watching had become a chore. Like I say it won't matter what I do, I'm insignificant in reality and can't go to games anymore so 🤷

The fact they can't pin City down despite having evidence and them even effectively pleading guilty to UEFA undermines them as an organisation
Or illustrates they have no desire to punish them. Meanwhile Everton will have had two charges and at least one appeal heard before they have their first hearing.

I thought the last comments were that they were seeking a negotiated settlement.
I think we should tell them to s*d off but I don’t think this issue has gone away completely albeit a possible legal action has.

I think they all backed off when they realised we would cease to exist if we had to pay them
