any more on what AB said John?Andy Burnham on record there now, saying he believes Masters was dishonest to the Parliamentary Commission. Would have thought that was massive news, but not a sniff of it being reported yet.

HopefullyI don’t think that applies in this context

Burnham was interviewed on Accross the Park Podcast . I would recommend you listen to it.any more on what AB said John?
The wage bill has been cut significantly the new signings it is claimed are paid far smaller base salaries but will be paid far more based on performance hence you are right there almost certainly won’t be CL next season. All that might be true, but you're absolutely miles away from challenging for titles again, imo of course. And as we know, that costs money in of itself.
There's also the small issue of the wage bill with no Champions League on the horizon.

In reality at this time I can’t see anyone other City winning the league that will change. We are certainly in transition I am sceptical about saying it’s a 5 year project but the new owners clearly don’t see the way forward doing the same things as have been down in the past.
One are that is clearly being addressed is commercial and it seems each week they announce another deal or partnership indeed only last week they published that there was now a partnership between the woman’s team and Skoda.
They think because of his background he is 100% on top of the PLs case, their evidence and he keeps banging on about the fact that such high powered individuals would have to have been involved what they are charged with couldn’t happen.
I was involved in finances be it more from an enforcement angle and believe me rich people get up to all sorts of things and so so often the number of people involved was often quite staggering and it’s more often than not that the little man is the one left hung out to dry
FixedPL introduced PSR to protect six clubs and here they are trying to destroying at least one club via their rules thats their to protect.
You couldn't make this crap up
They would be charging us for two of the years already covered by the first penalty, and the current fiscal year isn't done. We can't get in the wayback machine and change things, so how is charging us again even remotely fair?I would assume a second offense would be harsher than the first.
Spot on mate the people it will impact the most is the people who can do nothing about the current situation or have nothing to do with how weve got to this point. The thing that disgusts me most mate, is the impact on the City, Community and people. With no BMD there is no PSR difficulty - so why bother your hoop, investing in the City, providing for the community actually improving the PL brand and being a beacon on the International stage through the Euro etc. If we go down because of off the field matters that's real job losses at the club - peoples livelihoods, if the stadium stops that impacts the local economy and surrounding business's, it puts a hole in the whole waterfront development.
This just isnt an attack on Everton its an attack on the City, community and its people.
Four, they don't care about Chelsea or City.Fixed
It certainly appears confused, chaotic and un planned and yes I too scratch my head at times but the reality is for years we have been buying in players who had reached their ceiling and would have little sell on value and the funny part is player after player who were in their mid twenties had a decent season at another club we signed stunk the place out. Players like Barclay and Drinkwater to name just two.Fair enough.
Just all looks like a bit of a shambles to me, certainly in the transfer market. Genuinely don't understand why you spent all that money the way you did. I've said the same to many friends in real life: I really don't understand why you didn't just drop 200 million on Harry Kane, and not bother with a lot of the other signings, or go after a few cheaper options. I'd put good money on Chelsea challenging for the top 4 now, if you'd have done that.
