6 + 2 Point Deductions

I noticed nobody has discussed the points he raised and merely just called him a kopite.

But I get it, people need a Monster.

"So instead of this being a witch hunt against us the Premier League actually helped us out. They also allowed us to include much bigger COVID losses £170m almost double the next biggest losses which was Arsenal at £86m followed by Villa at £56m."

I thought this was his best line.

Would LOVE somebody to explain that 1 to me.

The answer is....If they found it an issue with it they would've.

Alas they didn't.

Building a stadium with increased costs due to an unforeseen global pandemic

Lenient? Thats laughable. And this isnt an accounting issue, its a PL rules issue. In those same documents you reference you conveniently ignore that the Secretary of State had no issue with their accounting of it. Everton brought to the PL the issue that they allowed excluding of stadium costs in some cases, but in their case they werent.

Since no club could possibly build a stadium and be profitable in the PL(a stadium costs 100+million a year and produces no income until finished), this makes perfect sense. It was absurd that you could exclude 100m in stadium costs in one case, and not 100m in another simply because of circumstances, considering neither gave a sporting advantage and had anything to do with play on the pitch. It was a bad loophole in the PL regulations, and the PL AGREED, before drawing up the August 13th agreement.

You probably think the referees have bene lenient as well, giving us what we deserve with 14 red cards to 0 and lowest pens in the league in years.
Where in the report does it say the secretary of state had no issue with Everton breaking basic accountancy rules?

As for building a stadium. Of course, it is possible all you have to do is get planning BEFORE you start spending tens of millions of pounds.

We didnt claim anything Stadium related as far as im aware.

“The wide-ranging impact of Covid-19 on Everton — which further market analysis has indicated could include an additional £50m — covers lost revenues, additional costs due to strict Covid-19 playing protocols and a significant contraction in the transfer market which resulted in the inability to generate the level of transfer fees which could reasonably have been expected pre-pandemic.”

Its a process without precedent or anything approaching independent regulation or guidelines with definitive boundaries for punishement with defined regualtions and appropriote predeclared punishments, it also overlaps timelines in manner contrary to other football governing bodies. Masters has just appeared and is unable to answer basic questions on his own process.

His word salad is meaningless, choice quotes designed to antagonise by kopites nad that other scab 6 whopper and by a few damo-lite clowns who want to feel clever about finance

Thing is they probably should accept it as a mitigation. The rules are about profit and sustainability and meant to prevent mismanagement, well selling a player for 30m when you could get 45 a few weeks later is mismanagement.

It’s ludicrous clubs should have to sell players on the cheap to hit a certain number at a certain date. There is so much more to how well or badly a club is being run than a year end profit or loss figure. Being forced to run your club badly to prove you’re running your club well is madness.
No, running your club well is knowing clubs who are run badly will need to sell their best players and then buying them on the cheap.

The punishment I take major issue with.

Our guilt, for me, is not in question.
