When the sports media were all talking about independent regulators, the PL came out and charged City with all those offences, the fact that City have kicked it down the road again meant we were perfect for them to make an example of.

That is the only reason they have been so harsh, to keep the regulators away.

With all the VAR and screw ups, all acknowledged by the PL and PGMOL via their apologies, I'd argue we've already served the the deduction.

The PL asked fot it to happen last season too, atleast the commission seen sense on that and said no.

Don't see they asking for an expedition of Citys charges though.

Can definitely see the points deduction being reduced upon appeal.

However it does show how incompetent we have been and how we have been run.

777 now pull out buying us and we are left with the current shower.

Still far too big a punishment for going less that 20 million, that's nothing in the PL these days... that just about gets you an almost average player.. 10 points deduction for a 20 million overspend joke..
