The accounts should be much healthier for 22/23 for several reasons;
- Approximately 15m more from tv revenue
-Increase in gate receipts and shirt sponsorship.
-wage bill down
-Profit on player trading

Headlines are just lazy journalism at this stage. All clubs will find out on 15th June, not just Everton and Forest. Slow news day.
If we've fallen foul of financial rules ofter all that then we should just wind up the club.

Why the 15th January? Why don’t they just tell us now? Honestly if this is what football has become I’m just going to sack it off. Big countdowns to find out who is going to get a points deduction because of financial irregularities. It’s not a sport.
Tune in next week to see if Everton have managed to avoid further punishment or will they face a points deduction that will almost certainly see them get relegated. Watch out for Nottingham Forest who may be making a guest appearance.

Omg how exciting!!!! This will surely generate loads of clicks and internet traffic which is what football is really about.

If you read the newspaper articles it's so depressing on our finances - the 777 take over has been given the green light by the prem they are presently bankrolling us - The wolves are at the door trying to kick a famous club down even further with another alleged breach of FFP rules -

It only press talk, but they predicted 12 points & we got 10 points deduction ..... that came true ..... worrying times - every club should be made to hand their books over in the Prem IMO - then it's a level playing field ....

They need to review 20 sets of accounts. They’ll have questions. Two weeks actually seems like a tight timeframe.
