6 + 2 Point Deductions

I suppose Because the better news you have to give, the less you have to include justifications of how you come to a decision where any decision to uphold the decision, which could result in negative media coverage possible litigation would require " all boxes ticked" response and multiple checks by Premier league lawyers etc

Tbh, I'd see it as the other way round. Surely its much easier to say, 'what he said' than it is to disagree and essentially recreate the whole document with different outcomes.

Surely they've been asked to justify the 10 point deduction. Give actual answers to why that figure rather than just 'seems about right'. How can we have a points deduction on inference of a sporting advantage when our team has got worse. A team which only got worse in order to satisfy their rules.

Well basically a load of clubs in England got greedy and realised that they could make far more money by breaking away from the FA and forming their own premier league

Several of these clubs got fatter than others by virtue of European revenues that then fed into huge commercial sponsorship deals. For several years they enjoyed winning everything by spending more money than everyone else and taking all their best players

Billionaires wanted a slice of the action and took over Chelsea and City with a desire to spend whatever it took to join the elite. The elite realised that they’d no longer win everything and wanted to make sure no other team could ever do what City and Chelsea did.

The PL crafted P&S rules playing on the support of the six already in the elite and other club owners all desperate to consolidate their own position at least in the top flight so the revenues poured in regardless of the need to actually compete. Win win for everyone.

Everton tried to compete but a combination of the war in Ukraine, covid, trying to build a stadium, Moshiri and Kenwright playing football manager, the player x incident, and a PL absolutely paranoid of independent regulation and enthrall to the elite big six decided they’d make a huge example of an accounting treatment. They’ve then been cowards waiting to release the verdict of the appeal at a time when they anticipate the least reputational blow back

And here we are
It's no coincidence this happened in the home of Manchester capitalism, encouraged by buccaneering captains of industry in thrall to the free market. Meanwhile, the Germans are throwing tennis balls at their matches in protest at a portion of the German Football League's TV rights being sold off to international capital. That's what you get in the land of Karl Marx where people have long accepted having only the second or third best league - standard wise - for ensuring, quite frankly, the most fan-friendly major league on the planet. To prove the point, the 2. Bundesliga had a bigger average attendance than the top fight this weekend, with over 32,000 coming through the gates. Now, that's a football culture that puts the fans first.

Where was the communist manifesto written Drico?

This is all being dragged out because of concern about the club isn't it. The fa suspect when the appeal fails and another points deduction is applied that the club will simply fold and there will be hell to pay in the rest of the table, no side to complete the fixtures means legal complaints from the other sides that've benefitted and or not and so carnage in court for years.

The club and fans behaving whilst limping towards the inevitable date of destiny makes this charade all the easier to package for the fa and their cronies.

Need a revolution we do.

Why will the appeal fail?

we don’t know a thing

Lot of speculation as to the level by which clubs spent too much but as there is no tariff in terms of applicable sanction there is nothing to say that even if both clubs missed by the exact same amount that any points deductions could be significantly different .
When you add in one of the most basic mitigating factors named a club admit the charge immediately then there is no way that you could second guess anything
If the does happen is even more proof the whole thing is bs created this tariff to do us with masters putting it forward. I just hope if not clear we to after the league
