6 + 2 Point Deductions

Taking 10 points off a relegation outfit...which is what we are and were before today...will be catastrophic for morale.

We have very tough gams coming up and I wouldn't bet against us being 4/5 points adrift by the end of them.

These player aren't up to it mentally.

It is a pretty limited bunch of players quality wise but compared to our peers I think we hold up pretty well on mentality and character.

However, I do agree this will have a big dent on player morale that I think is being underestimated on here by some who feel we will just be able to breeze by the promoted clubs.

We have a pretty tough set of fixtures coming up so could find ourselves detached. If we stay up it will go to the wire IMO

People should put the appeal out of their minds. You see a lot of people thinking it will be reduced but the opinions of the legal experts are that there is very little chance of this

We've been mugged and this decision is corrupt. The worst of it is that we've also had to put up with outsiders all day stating "You;ll easy get out of it anyway".

That;s like salt in the wound for me. Its a BS pat on the head at best.

We are in massive trouble. Anyone believing that other nonsense is kidding themselves.
We have been mugged but its not over, no 'kin way

Who’s said this? I assume you have a source.

Ok so what if we lead the super league breakaway now?

Let’s get in on it.
If you go down and win the league it will probably be the most enjoyable season you've had for years?

New grounds to visit, many of which are far too big for their clubs so get a huge away allocation, some silverware, no VAR, and a bit more humour from the players in the Championship where the fans love a wind up merchant or a shithouse.

Time to panic is if you aren't back up within two seasons and don't have the top rate of parachute payments anymore.

As a fan of a team which spends more time in the Championship than it does the top tier, I can't pretend to understand FFP in great deal as I'm not an accountant or a football administrator, but I do know that the football league and Prem have different FFP rules and both are over multiple seasons so a relegation is effectively a 'reset' on that. So losses in the EFL are not considered for Prem FFP, and vice versa.

Thats up to the players and management, 12 months ago it'd have been catastrophic I agree.

Up to Dyche to make it galvanising.
