You do realize giving a young player his debut and regularly playing him as a youth are two completely different things? It's very apparent that Moyes is apprehensive when it comes to trusting younger players , because he's a rigid man of routineā¦.two of the 3 youngest ever Premier League goalscorers were not only given their debut at Everton but were given their debut by David Moyes. We will see tonight, because if he goes for McNeil over Dibling, that will be a disgraceYou do realize giving a young player his debut and regularly playing him as a youth are two completely different things? Much easier to throw on a young striker for last 20 mins, than any other position on the pitch.
He will play them IF he thinks hey are physical enough.
Now confirmedLooks like Martin Sherif could be on his way back.

"I have been disappointed with the availability and we need people out on that pitch."
MANAGER Matt Hamshaw has hinted that he has made up his mind on the Rotherham United futures of loan strike duo Martin Sherif and Kion Etete.www.rotherhamadvertiser.co.uk
Bates, Aznou, Welch and Campbell all on the bench⦠surprised that Bates gets ahead of Patterson, but donāt expect any of them see the pitch aside from Aznou
Whoās he had during his career whom he hasnāt given a chance to, who has gone on to excel in the top 10 in the PL/top tiers abroad? You do realize giving a young player his debut and regularly playing him as a youth are two completely different things? I initially thought ā apprehensiveā was the wrong word , but I think youāre right. Quoting what Moyes was doing over 20 years ago is completely irrelevant for me. Anybody whoās in their 60ās or older knows you donāt have the same perspective as you did when you were 40. You get more risk averse, youāve learned from previous mistakes, youāre not going to ā bet the house ā on somethIng risky and yes you do get more apprehensive to a certain degree . Itās a generalisation but it applies to most, and it certainly applies that Moyes is now more risk averse when it comes to playing youngsters than he was 20 odd years ago. Heās also more experienced and in my view a better manager. I guess we take the rough with the smooth with him.You do realize giving a young player his debut and regularly playing him as a youth are two completely different things?
