Player Valuation: £70m
Obviously this club isn't ready to compete in the transfer market, in Europe or in the Premiership. That is clear. We do seem to be flying by the seat of our pants and are getting more spin then the waltzas.

So what can we expect?

A new stadium? Benefits are clear. More revenue, higher profile, a more attractive proposition for potential suiters - both investors and players alike.

The young players we have at the squad are going to be maturing. Rodwell, Kissock, Agard, Baxter are all going to be 20 something.

Robert Earl factor may well be in full flow. Better marketing, because at the moment its a [Poor language removed] joke.

What else can we expect?

Would we wait 5 years for success?

Do we have any choice?

What do we think will be a minumum requirement for a successful season?

Dude you swing like a moody house in some southern suburb with the curtains closed and lots of cars parked outside. On a Saturday night.

Leave my Kenwright-o-meter alone, its swung enough in one day.

I think a succesful season would probably be similar to last year, except with maybe a decent run in europe. Anything less than a european placement push is gonna feel like a step backwards. But to be fair, we are in a very transitional period with the stadium on the horizon, or not, so realistically, maybe a top ten would be a success.

Well having seen Leeds getting flushed further down the toilet, there is always that fear.

Personally I would be happy with 5 top 10 finishes at least. Cement our place in the top half, and top 7 each season would be excellent.

Yep I agree. Sometimes I start thinking we should be going for more, but then I think, hang on, what exactly have we done since the premiership formed, we've only just managed to stay there half the time, so maybe ensuring that we are a regular top ten wouldnt be too bad at all.

We all get carried away sometimes, but realistically with our finances and recent history, I think regular top tens would be very much an improvement.

Well I don't want to be a spoil sport, but I think we need to get down to the crux of the matters.

Intertoto wouldn't be good because of the lack of break we will get. So anywhere between 5th and 10th for 5 years would in my opinion be a step in the right direction.

I'd much rather we did a slow and steady progress than risk doing a Leeds. I'd love for us to be able to snatch the big names, but we need to get teh revenue to do that first.

For me to see a continuous climb for the club in the coming 5 years I'd want the following:

1. Top 10 placements each season, and at least 4 of those years getting out into Europe.. one way or another... preferably by league position.

2. And in the european cups at least getting passed the groupstage in the UEFA-Cup or into the groupstage in the CL 3-4 times.

3. A new stadium either finished or very close to finished, that wouldn't have placed the club so deep into debt that we would face hard times with finances.

Hang on. So you'll be happy with top 10 places in the next 5 years, but you want 3 or 4 of those getting into the top 4! Are you sure you meant that?
