Could work against us as the hull players will be playing for a place in the team for the cup final....be better for us if they lose in the semi's and their season is totally dead....
 

Personally think we'll need 76 and, depending on how Spurs handle their easy run-in, around 72 for 5th. Depending on Chelsea, we have a very outside chance of making 3rd believe it or not as they have three somewhat awkward games coming up (could easily drop 7 points if they implode), but as that'd rely on Liverpool putting them away I'd rather we didn't overtake them.

It's possible....although Jelavic & Long are cup tied, so they'll be playing then.....
when we reached the cup final against Chelsea, Moyes played a full strength team the week before to keep our momentum going (we beat fulham away if i remember correctly), so managers have different approaches to these things..

forget about chelsea....and i'll certainly be supporting them when they play liverpool....

the odd thing coming up is, when Man City come to goodison.....100% i'll want us to win, but if we do, we'll probably be handing Liverpool the league title....that's as bitter as bitter sweet comes......
 
To be honest, I don't see where the next defeat is coming from.

City is the only game I see us dropping points in and even then I am confident we will win.

That' what this team is doing to my view of the world these days...:pint2:

It's easy to forget but we've played quite a few get out of jail free cards in recent fixtures. We've won without being great - the run in needs us to win and be great consistently.
 
Think we'll need 14 points to put pressure on Arsenal. So that'll be tough to get. I think Arsenal will win 4 of their games. I only see Hull away as tricky for them. We're in the mix but it'll be tough! We need Arsenal to 'slip up' in one more of their games and if so we can do it.

No...the run in just needs us to win.

And we have become blooming good at winning even when
we aren't playing well.

And when we do play well we look nigh on invincible.
 
We are flying at the moment, i think this is the most confident i have seen us playing for a long time, yeah we have a tough run in but the way we are playing at the moment, bring them on.
 
Same as a few of the others, 4 wins will actually do it.

Arsenal will not take 15 points from 15 based on yesterday FFS! We can at least take 12 from 18. Teams drop points, especially this time of season. 12 more points is a mimimum for CL & even at that it will be very tough. An absolute scrap IMO
