Gone are the days when there were full fixtures on Easter Friday and Monday.
I find myself working friday, sunday and monday. I work those days anyway and the fact that the majority class this weekend as something to celebrate gives me great pleasure to take up the double time offered by my boss. Easter my arse.
And I'm not being hypocritical, I dislike Christmas too
Friday
Ive just teed up an afternoon with this Costa Rican mammasita and it will be coronas on Brighton Le Sands beach as the sun goes down and couch action later. No meat on Good Friday isn't a rule for this Costa Rican apparently.
Saturday
My sisters often need their big brother to come over and tell em whats what, so I might do that today. My little neice complete with golden ringlets and button nose will be the highlight. She's just started to talk. I love being an Uncle.
Sunday
Big Showdown with Doonside today. Second game of the season coming off a shock loss against Minchinbury in the first, we are going to have to dig alot deeper this week. Ive played two games and missed two sitters so Im due an absolute stormer. Dinner with ex that evening so if I dont score on the pitch Ive got a solid back up on the bench.
Monday
Way too far ahead to make any kind of commitment to Monday. Could be a relaxing stoned stupur playing GTA4 or I could press on with my screenplay. We'll let Monday decide.
Today I planned to make a big dent in my college work but I got up, sat on my arse for a couple of hours, did a bit then jumped in the shower & have done no work since. I'm going to try to have another go soon or if not I'll have to do it tomorrow because I want to get it out of my mind well before Wembley.
Got the match on Sunday, will probably spend Monday feeling a bit tender because I know I'm off work the next day so I'll **** the booze on the way to Villa
Watching the masters, sleep most of tomorrow then watch the masters, work on sunday, get home and watch my delayed recodring of the game. Hoping no one in work tells me the score.
