If this World Cup is anything to go by then then 3-5-2 looks like the future popular formation and quite frankly it allows the team to be built around Barkley.

I think this is going to be our formation next season so I wouldn't be surprised if we buy at least CB.

He likes winger types that can play more narrow too though. Also he said in his WC coverage after the argentina half where they played it that the 3-5-2 is his favorite formation and he thinks it's the most dynamic.

Would allow Stones to plah every game as RCB, we would certainly need a LCB to compete with distin. Good thing is that Jags would be in the centre helping the kids to come through kike stones, browning etc.

I think he wants a squad that can drop between 3-4-3, 3-5-2 and 4-3-3, like he did at Wigoon.

Players like Oviedo (LWB/LW/LM) and Coleman (RWB/RB/RM) are players he likes because his tactics involve rotating the play around the wingers, and in a 3-4-3 you can overlap more easily without being caught light at the back if you are broken against.
