i was there.i took my fairly new wife.we stood in the corner all squashed in.damon from brookside was standing next to us.psycho scored in the 1st minute.after that nothing much happened apart from us being under the cosh for most of the game.after the whistle we were let onto the pitch after a while and the players came out onto the directors box.

happy happy times.i hope that a lot of you who have never experienced us winning titles will be lucky one day-but it might have to be the championship.

I was by a radio in a squat in London. Had a fantastic night after the final whistle went. CHAMPIONS!

Then HK went to Bilbao, THEY bought Barnes and Beardsley, and that was that. We've never recovered.

I wasn't there, but was fortunate to see our glory years when I was 15ish. They were fantastic.

So many memories and great times. The team was superb with a bunch of player who believed in each other. I still believe to this day that Alan Harper is better than Phil Neville, and he was on the bench most of the time!!

I still live in hope and believe that some how, we will see days like those back at Goodison.... That's what I keep telling my lad anyway. Keep the faith.

Wasn't that game a dinner time kick off on Easter Monday or something ?

It was a bank holiday Monday, can't remember it kicking off late though! I remember staying in Great Yarmouth on the Sunday night though before the game!

Co-incidentally it was also the same day Cesc Fabregas was born!
