The staging of the games is weird for this tournament, you have the bulk of the games in NFL/MLS/MLB stadiums but then have a few in Asia and a couple in Dublin and Sweden

Tottenham v Milan
Barcelona v Roma
Real Madrid v Juventus
Milan v Barcelona
Real Madrid v Roma
Benfica v Juventus

The Asia (in this case Singapore) games are
Atletico v Arsenal
Arsenal v PSG
PSG v Atletico

The Europe games are
Bayern v PSG (Austria)
Chelsea v Inter (France)
Arsenal v Chelsea (Ireland)
Benfica v Lyon (Portugal)
Chelsea v Lyon (England)
Atletico v Inter (Spain)
Inter v Lyon (Italy)

Pointless cash grab that shakes down the glory-hunting Americans (they deserve it, the knobs) and makes the rich even richer. There’s at least one game right down the street from me and I couldn’t be less interested.

Yeah...defo a cash grab. I was living in the Bay Area when we played Juventus in San Francisco. Any half decent seat was $120+. No way I would do that even for Everton on a meaningless preseason game.

Oh yay, another opportunity for the elite to cement their status with a bunch of cash. Because ruining the European Cup by turning into the Runners Up Lrague and making the UEFA Cup and Cup-Winners Cup into a dreary never ending insignificant league wasn't enough.

I can only hope for some injuries to afflict the greedy.

Man City v Borussia Dortmund International Champions Cup
02:05

Bayern Munich v PSG International Champions Cup
15:05

First 2 games are Saturday "morning" at 2am and Saturday afternoon at 3 bells.

Then on Sunday, Dortmund play their 2nd game in 2 days.

Liverpool v Borussia Dortmund International Champions Cup

I was going to fly up to Singapore with my son for the 3 games there, but my wife talked me out of it. (n) “Tournaments” like this may seem like a money spinning excercise for the rich clubs, but for those of us who have chosen to live in paradise rather than remain in the uk, it is the only chance for us to see world class teams and players in a competitive match.

I despise this 'tournament'.

Fills up the schedules of the top teams, meaning they get something approaching a reliable suite of competitive games whilst the rest of us scratch around trying to find someone worth playing.

That in turn then ensures that chosen few get to build their brands and finances all summer, playing glamour games in front of full stadiums. United, City and the rs will likely generate £25m -£30m more than us this summer. Before the season has even started! That is just ludicrous.

It's also a complete closed shop. We could finish 4th this season and still not get invited next year.

We had enough competitive disadvantages to overcome as it was. A defacto European super league taking shape each summer is just another kick in the balls.

Who gives a crap, really? Nothing but a pretentious money-spinner reserved for the back-patters and rich clubs who'll only be getting richer as a result.
