Liverpool won fair and square (Gerard dived for the pen but we'll overlook that for the purpose of this). Everyone deal with it.
And their second goal was offside.
They lost 3-1 fair and square though.

Aye some confusion caused by the thread title.
I'm pretty sure most sussed it out though.

Wasn't that a Vladimir smicer wonder strike?
Haha that's how jammy they were.
Baros was flagged for offside but the ref waved play on and he headed it back to smicer who whacked it in from 30 yards out.
Jammy isn't half of it.
Just for the record, Radio Merseyside news at 11am this morning mentioned Gattuso had been arrested following match fixing allegations & specifically went out of their way to mention he had played in the 2005 CL Final.
So BBC Radio Merseyside 'implied' it first.
It's not just a bitter Evertonian, even though some of you are making out that it is, and that the mere idea of it preposterous.
The logical arguments of sacrificing personal glory etc never apply to people who get caught doing this stuff. People ALWAYS have something to lose; getting involved in such dodginess is never logical, at any level.
Some people might believe it, some don't. I'm surprised quite a few on here won't even consider it possible though. The revelations regarding spot fixing in recent days would indicate its prevalent at certain levels.
But surely the fact he never actually fouled any liverpool players in the penalty area counts against this theory?
The final wasn't rigged. They won it (sort of) on merit.
