Watching premier league years and quite frankly we were an embarassment under Walker, Kendell and Smith.

We had some absolute crap wearing the everton shirt. it would impossible to name a bad xi as there would be so many candidates for the job.

Apparently a great time, I have been told on here many times.
For me it was an awful decade with the cup win a small reprieve before we went back to being awful again.

97-98 really was horrid

I was too young to remember the 93-94 season itself and I only really remember the jubilant victory over Wimbledon

97-98 was a season where I woke up every saturday dredding the worst. An awful season in which we only just survived

I do remember Chris Sutton scoring against us in something like 12 seconds at Goodison. Can't remember the actual season but it happened during this period.

Just before the kickoff of the Coventry game (97/98), I thought we were going down. That was a horrible feeling.

Aside from 1 crazy day in May '94 & 18 months of Big Joe's tenure, it was ****ing grim.

92/92 averaging 19K at home, playing like drains under Howard with Kenny Sansom at LB - some of the lads who moan about us now, would have taken the bleach if they'd been around then.

What got to me during the nineties was how far we had plummeted from being a top team a Decade before
We're every match you would think about how many goals we would score to absolute Shiite
Goodison a ground were teams used to dread coming to, bad bad times, I can still see our blessed Walter
And his sidekick Archie Knox in the Dugout,F++++n Hell it was dire,it still haunts me to this day,SHUDDER SHUDDER

Look at this place when we draw a game to deny us the chance of closing the gap on the top 4.

Then remember some of us lived through this game.

We failed to score in 11 of our first 18 games FFS!

hahaha, you've just triggered a bad flashback there.

I was living away at that point & had a 300 mile round trip to home games, I made 16 games (home & away) that season & saw us score 4 goals!

No wonder people used to point and snigger at us,bad bad memories, god help us.

Was it Dion Dublin that Kendall Mk II fell out with the board over trying to sign?

I'd that hadn't happened we'd never had had the Walker era, although we were already on the slide at that point
