1985 - Spurs v Everton

Happy days.

..yep, I was there. Spurs were in with a great chance of winning the league themselves and I remember Andy Gray saying the team treated it as a Cup Final. It was a fantastic evening.

I was behind the goal where Gray scored and Southall saved a certain equaliser,

I had a final interview for a job 2 days after this game, to break the ice the guy told me he was a Spurs fan and asked me who I supported, when I told him the blues we had a bit of banter regarding the game, I ended up getting the job and have been working for the same outfit ever since, good memories all round from that game with two great goals chucked in..

It was the first away game I'd ever seen Everton win.
I remember being at a tube station later and for the first time knowing I was going to see Everton win the league. Wonderful feeling

I like Grays comment were he says only a win is the aim,I remember in some ones biography they mentioned about Gray having no bogy ground or team everywhere they played he would comment that it was a lucky ground for him
