*Sigh*
Why on earth would Nike give us our own design range?

Minimal fan base (compared to teams who have a say in their designs), small international branding, nowhere in the league, haven't won a cup in 17 years and don't look like winning anything other than the odd home game.

LCS could be a bit more inventive 'cause their annual turnover is probably £350 ffs, get a grip.

I'm buying all three 'cause they look nice and they happen to be Everton shirts.

I think the worst thing about it is that it doesn't look like an Everton kit. The least they could have done is included white socks. I thought last seasons kit was the best we have had in the Moyes era apart from the blue socks and I think this seasons kit is by far the worst. Surely someone with a bit of fashion sense who actually supports the club should have a say before decisions are made on how the kit will look.
We're 1-0 down already

But that's the point. We've gone from a kitmaker who actually wanted to produce, market, and design a great kit for the club, to a maker that doesn't give a ****. Its back to the Umbro days with no identity.

We don't even get any financial benefit from it. If that were different, id whinge less. But its not.

Oh and they want £50 for it too. £50 for a shirt that was knocked up at Nike towers in 2 minutes.

A lot of less prestigious clubs in England have kits by Nike and Addidas but they are supplied through a 3rd party. That's why you see the likes of Bristol City, Bradford, Barnsley, WBA, Stoke, swansea, Peterborough etc. with Nike swooshs and the three stripes.

I'd imagine we've signed a deal with a third party as opposed to directly with Nike, that's why Arsenal and Man Utd, and soon Man City, get unique shirts designed by Nike designers in Nike towers and we get dull uninspired templates, picked from the same choice of kits of as football league and pub teams.

I agree with Kenada, obviously Le Coq were supplying directly to us which meant they designed the shirts and we had something original and actually worthy of an unveiling because it was only available to Everton.

I'm probably going against the grain here but i quite like it. Looks better on then then just a picture of it. Thought it looked good earlier on Sky Sports News.

* I'll get me coat

.

More money though innit? Business lads, business.

Lol at you lot taking moral highground over Nike, I suppose you'd be pissed at having three white stripes down the sleeves if we got addidas?

The point is I spent £86 on the away kit and I look mint in it, the lads at five a side are gonna look sh*t in their £10 Sports Direct Bursaspor shirts.

Umbro have priced the Norway Home shirt at £65

The training gear is all 'stock' as well, in fact there Ushoited have got some nicer stuff in blue than we have, we just seem to have gotten a load of stuff from the euro's which the nations will no doubt be dumping for the w.c. qualifiers.

I think we've got two of the smartest kits in the league, nothing fancy, just a top quality football kit with 'Everton' on it :)
