Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

Man United would just blow the champions league money on crap again while Spurs could attract a much better manager now and players so for that reason I hope Man United win it even though I hate them just after the rs

On the other hand, you can’t put a price on United in a bonafide relegation scrap. Once in a lifetime comedy.

Probably speed up this Super League crap too, and get them and that lot and some others out of our faces forever.

Having 6 English teams in the champions league next season is farcical

“Champions league “

If ever a competition needed a new name

Imagine, and I know it’s extremely unlikely even if they win the 15 / 16th place final……. Congratulations to Tottenham Hotspur, winning the champions league 65 years since they were actual champions…. It’s a kin joke

Rather Spurs win it I suppose, they were about as bad as they could be this year but United have further to drop without the backstop of European money
If United win it the extra CL games could take a toll on them next season and their PL form could get worse. Missing out of CL could see Fernandez looking to move to a CL club, which would have a big impact on them too, with the loss of 15 to 20 penalties that he seems to get over the course of a season.

Looking forward to a lot of games on the tv tonight. Bristol v Sheffield United will be good to see if Sheffield United continue their end of season slump. I`d like to see Bristol come up as I`ve never seen them in the top flight. I hope Spurs do a Spurs and flop in Norway sot that the 2 out of form sly 6 teams don`t make the Europa final. I think Spurs will improve with a new manager but United are a bad team getting worse. United getting CL football by winning the Europa Cup would probably be bad for them and give them another run of games to get battered in.
