The reality of climate change you reckon????

Europe is freezing with RECORD cold temperature. Down Under with RECORD drought followed by RECORD flooding. Our farmers are so hard up it's not funny. And, in between, the swarm of locusts.

That's not to mention that volcanic eruptions in Asia.

It's crazy.

It's nothing new. Climate change is a natural phenomenon.

The key is adapting.

Tony Robinson’s Climate Change pretty much nails it.

Theres climate change and then there's anthropogenic climate change Danny.

Humanity is now a force of nature on a global scale.

And not matter what you say, changing the composition of the atmosphere (which Humans are doing) - is going to have effects on global climate ... then eventually weather patterns over the long term.

Natural phenomena can do so also.

Bacteria did so in the early stages of life on earth.

About as much impact as throwing a handful of sand on a beach.

History tells us the wise adapt, the foolish resist.

Future generations will mock the naivety of our current understanding that we can 'combat global warming'. History is awash with ancient great civilisations perishing because of drastic changes in weather patterns. Back then, they'd pray to the gods to 'combat global warming' in the hope their sacrifices would bring rain.

Now substitute gods with politicians and you're right in the modern day.

That'll be your farmers telling you that I suppose ? they claim poverty the world over, ours get paid to not work their land ffs.

Maybe they could harvest the locusts ? Fly through swarms with big nets and skyfish the baggers, or maybe have fake crops that are like a huge field of insectocutors, they land for smokoe and zap they are pocoloco and on the next flight to bangkok covered in various glazes.

It's always floods, droughts and bushfires mate, welcome to Australia, it's always been like this.

But surely we are trying to combat "manmade global warming"?

Of course the Earth over the course of its life has naturally changed and will always do so.

But the point is that we as the human race are (possibly) making things a whole lot worse.

In this country in the middle of summer it can often reach over 30 degrees celsius. So you don't make things worse by putting your central heating on. But if people do and then complain its too hot we need to tell them to turn their heating off. Simple analogy but thats how it seems to me.

Whatever Damon reckons, I reckon the opposite.

What's the question again?

Bingo!

A lot of it media sensationalism, which wasn't around 100-200 years ago, even 2000 years ago. And there certainly wasn't airports to disrupt.

Cheer us up , why don't you , honey ???

With respect , everyone , NATURE ADAPTS to NATURAL PHENOMENA .

It takes a tad longer to ADAPT TO HUMAN INSTIGATED CHEMICAL IMBALANCE WHICH RISES EXPONENTIALLY EACH FUKN YEAR to the point where no-one either knows nor gives a flying fuk , any more . The Carbon thing , a case in point . Mother Nature will indeed look after her own , but if some fuka poisons the soup , ALL WILL DIE , IRRESPECTIVE .

Imo , anyway .
