But, but, but, worrabout Marco Polo, Henry the navigator, John Cabot, Vespucci, Ferdinand Magellan, Cortez the killer (10 points for naming the person who wrote and sang that song - no google!), good old Francis Drake, Walter Raleigh, James Cook.

Ya gorra broaden your scope...
Not Vasco da Gama then?

Not Vasco da Gama then?
My grandfather was born in Liverpool in 1878, and my father told me he followed Everton from the earliest days in the Football League. My dad was born in 1911, so was in his prime teenage years in 1928, aged 16. I'm a pensioner.

Go figure what is true and what is false...

We played a version of this on my first day in uni many moons ago. One of them get to know your classmates games. Our lecturer went first and gave 3 options that he was one 1.)A bee keeper. 2.)Goes diving. 3.)Something else i can't remember.

Going diving was true and when prompted where he goes diving his answer was "In Muff". He had to let us all the leave the class as no one stopped laughing for 10 minutes, people rolling on the floor. He asked that we come back when we can behave like adults.

But he wasn't actually lying. Theres a town in Donegal called Muff that conveniently runs a diving school.
