I have just been reading a depressing piece on the BBC website that Sam is almost done and dusted and that Shakespear is deffo coming with him.

They go on to say he is hoping to fetch Wee Sammy in as well but the board are baulking at this because they fear a supporter backlash at such a move,

Yes right.....like that motley shower give a toss about what we think.

Expect Sam to have the whole band of merry men back together.

They also say the club hope to announce him before tomorrow night’s game.

Now, FWIW I have decided to make my own quiet little protest and refuse to applaud if this happens.

Silly I know, but as I know I won’t be stopping caring or stopping going or owt I will at least refuse to stand by and applaud on the day our club officially gives up on the hope of becoming an elite club again.

What did Everton stand for? Why do people have this idea that Everton are somehow better than the other clubs, or an exception? Everton are just as greedy and cynical as the other 19 clubs are.
