‘’Doing the 92’

I did the 92. I qualified for the '92 club'. and got my trophy, in 1991 at Notts County. I saved them until last as they are the oldest league club, and they put it in the programme. I was number 700-odd to do it, it tok me four years in between Everton home games. I was single at the time I hasten to add!

I loved it. Great way to see the country, stay away in a few B&Bs and have some cracking nights out.

I've done a few Scottish and a lot of non leagues, but no more completions. I got married in '95 and it wasn't quite as easy. I still like to get to new grounds, but it's not quite the same - they're all identikit new stadia now...
So jealous reading your post

I gave up on the 92 long ago. Worst grounds:

Wigan - Far too small the away section, got crushed in the pie queue.
Coventry - Soulless, need to get like 2 different buses.
Oldham - Utter shanty town and the so-called VIP section is one padded seat, rather than a plastic one like those you might be parked on for hours when you're going anywhere via Merseyrail on a Sunday. Somehow, the padded seat was less comfortable than the plastic!

Old Trafford the best by a mile I'm ashamed to say. Also have loads of time for Charlton's valley (been twice). Birmingham, West Brom and Hull also pretty decent. MK Dons very good for its level, crap atmos tho
Have you been to the etihad? I’d choose that over old Trafford

Have any of you lot been to wonderful land of Leicestershire? Obviously there was filbert street and king power stadium but there’s a few nice non league clubs to visit, Heather St. John’s (was on the bbc via the red button last year in the fa cup qualifying rounds ) Coalville town, shepshed town also.
The best one abroad I’ve been to was steaua Bucharest

North-West counties/ Hallmark security league this afternoon, St.Helens Town are 5-0 down to Lower Breck
