How great is that. 26mill total for a premier league lineup. Isn't that what it should be like?? Ok, you'll probably not win the prem with it, but I think it is something to be proud of, to be honest.

If the academy hadn't missed/released Baines and Jagielka early on, then the total would have been only 16m.

All being well a few more of the youngsters will appear this year to further decrease the overall cost of the squad.

Just sayin like but most of the 0m boys are products of our youth ranks so we have invested a lot of time and money getting these players ready for the premiership. Your argument is irrelevant anyway what does it matter what the players cost, are you telling me 2mil for cahill, 2.5 for arteta etc is bad business?
