£20 away tickets

why do people feel the need to lie about the away system?

Sunderland went to 0 credits, as did Southampton & Leicester, Hull went to 4, Palace 5, boro 6. So add that with the cup games and you could have had 9 by the end of February if you wanted.
The people who spread this nonsense only want to go to the most attractive games but away games like Sunderland and Boro they wouldn't touch

As somebody who has gotten a large number of away credits in a couple of seasons and also sold some of the tickets, I really don't think it's a widespread problem. It's a real hassle to buy all the tickets and then sell them on, never mind also trying to make a profit.

Unfortunately there will always be drawbacks no matter what system is used but some kind of ballot based on luck would be totally unfair imo, and would also make it very difficult for groups of dedicated supporters to attend matches together, which is one of the things that helps make the atmosphere at away games so good.

Didnt the RS used to use a system were for example if your season ticket customer number ended in an odd number or even you could apply first? I cant remember how it worked but a lad I used to work with who went everywhere had games where he would struggle to get tickets. You ant be having a lottery. Ours is pretty fair as it is.

All this does is give the fans that 'own' the away tickets an extra £10 profit and more demand for them to sell on.

It is impossible now to get any away ticket unlike the last couple of seasons.

This season there has been not one game that has gone to 5 credits.

The system needs to change for first come first served for all STH or for a ballot. Share them around a bit. Or if people say but what about the loyalty? Ok if you are that loyal you should take a selfie of your own mug in the away ground to get the credit.

As others have already said, the above is not actually true. Sunderland didn't even quite sell out, Southampton went to General Sale and Leicester sold out on STH with 0 credits.

The system is as fair as it can be, and to be honest, now is actually a time when it's still possible to 'get on the ladder' with certain less attractive away fixtures. If the team moves in the direction we expect over the next few seasons, it will be even harder for fans to earn away credits and the ones who are moaning now will be kicking themselves for not putting the effort in for games like Southampton away which was a Sunday fixture (so any of them who work Monday to Friday had an opportunity to get a ticket for it while it was on general sale).

please provide the website link for Swansea away tickets being sold for £100!
or is it bollocks like the rest of your post!

To be fair to @JohnyH, away tickets being sold to Evertonians on the web at that sort of price isn't unusual

I don't think the problem is widespread, but denying it exists would be wrong.

Unfortunately, because the club got into bed with Stubhub, it would be a bit two faced of them to criticise fans who do such things, but it would please me greatly if Blues caught selling away tickets as per the above, had their accounts tweaked so they were no longer able to buy away tickets.
