Not exactly what i was told but you all get a tenner back on your west ham tickets

Yea, it's in the press now ...

From http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...r-League-fans-reimbursed-10-away-tickets.html

Virgin Media and the Football Supporters' Federation (FSF) have teamed up to ensure fans will pay no more than £20 to cheer on their side on the road.

Both organisations are taking part in a 'Twenty's Plenty' campaign which will see Premier League fans given a refund if they pay a penny more than £20.

Away Premier League tickets are already capped at £30 but Virgin Media will reimburse away fans £10 for top-flight games between April 15 and April 23.

The week-long initiative follows the FSF's calls to make Premier League football affordable to fans across the country.

Supporters will be able to apply for a refund by visiting Virgin Media's official website following their away day trip.

Virgin and FSF will subsidise tickets for just one away fixture per Premier League club and will even reimburse the cost of a second class stamp after a supporter has applied for a refund.

Manchester City fans will not need to go through the process as Virgin Media, who sponsor Southampton, already subsidise away tickets at St Mary's to ensure they pay just £20.

Just a reminder to those unfortunate enough to have gone today.

Don't chuck your tickets in the bin because if you go to https://keepup.virginmedia.com/twentys-plenty, you won't see any humping animals, but you will be able to fill a form in, print it off and send it to Virgin with your ticket and they'll send you a cheque for a tenner.

If that sounds like a lot of effort, then do it anyway and then give a tenner to a deserving charity.

Every cloud ( today's bore draw for example ) has a silver lining.

You all deserve gold medals for travelling to that game;)

All this does is give the fans that 'own' the away tickets an extra £10 profit and more demand for them to sell on.

It is impossible now to get any away ticket unlike the last couple of seasons.

The maximum number of away credits possible in 14/15 for someone finishing 13/14 with 2 credits was 5 credits (x4 home cup and x1 at Chelsea PL away) the away cups did not count. This season there has been not one game that has gone to 5 credits.

It has not helped this season with only three cup games to get x3 credits. This may change next season but don't think it will make much of a difference as there will be at least 3000 with large amount of credits.

Seeing tickets for the Swansea game on secondary selling sites for £100 takes the mick.
Instead of the club determining who goes the away games it is a select group of people who decide and either go themselves, move them on either for face value or for big profits.

At least when some away prices where expensive there would be some left for people with low credits. Now no chance.

The system needs to change for first come first served for all STH or for a ballot. Share them around a bit. Or if people say but what about the loyalty? Ok if you are that loyal you should take a selfie of your own mug in the away ground to get the credit.

I suggest you stop feeling sorry for yourself. There's a poster on here, who shows, how you can get tickets for the aways and what they sell out etc...

Worked out that if you started on 0 aways this season you could have still got a ticket for the Derby which sold out on 11+ credits. I don't know if you have the credits or don't, but anyone who is complaining REALLY needs to stop whinging and go to Sunderland on a Monday night.

As for "credit hunters" getting an extra £10 for it. Stop talking nonsense! It's the ticket holder who gets £10... not the person with the credit.

why do people feel the need to lie about the away system?

Sunderland went to 0 credits, as did Southampton & Leicester, Hull went to 4, Palace 5, boro 6. So add that with the cup games and you could have had 9 by the end of February if you wanted.
