Let's hope we don't get CL football within the next 3 years because we'll fall foul of those rules with these losses.

Quite simple.
Go back to your Liverpool fourm's lad you are not fooling anyone, god sake you are Defending champions league, world club champions and are about to win the premier league, yet here you are on an Everton page pretending to be an Everton fan saying "let's hope we don't get CL football"

We're selling the naming rights to a stadium that hasn't been built. Financially, we're not doing well. No point in trying to spin it any other way. Going to take a long time to get out of this hole.

With respect, you've misunderstood what was announced last night! They haven't sold the naming rights, they've sold an option on the naming rights. For £30m they've sold USM the right to later pay even more money for naming rights.

So whilst you're right that there's a lot of red ink on the books at the moment, last night was the final proof, if more were needed, that EFC's owners are able to support the club through these losses and that the stadium project is not in danger from recent problems in recruitment and return on player wages.

Building the stadium will remove one of the constraints on growing club revenues, which in turn will lessen the pressures caused by FFP for a club seeking to break into the upper echelons of the PL.

Between this news, the positive response to the fantastic stadium design and the appointment of one of the world's most respected and successful managers, this is the most promising time in years to be an Everton supporter. This is a club that's going to rapidly stop being labelled a fallen giant as this investment helps to unlock all the unrealised potential that's been dormant for so long. Enjoy the ride!

We have effectively began the Man city model of using ourselves as a sponsor. Man City have shown you can do this with ease, making a mockery of FFP and spending endlessly. If USM has the money and the ambitious intent he is suggesting he does, we'll be grand and free to spend at will

Don't think too many fans give a toss about these headlines concerning losses, naming rights etc, except those who like to pretend they are financially savvy enough to know what is going on. Leave it to the billionaires and be thankful we have one or two. We could be a Sunderland, broke, bust, no chance of a buyer and probably finished for the next decade. I take it there are no financial experts, advisors or mega rich investors on this site who do claim to have a clue. I would rather discuss Pickford and other player related matters. But carry on, why not if you enjoy it

Reckon Usmanov could just hire a hitman for Morgan, Oumar, Cuco, Gylfi and Fabian? Then claim on insurance?

And then just put in a second bid of £20M for the option for naming rights on the new Team Bus?
