    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Anyway, whether he is here or not - he can easily mint it by doing an Allardyce and stabilising sinking clubs. We can go out in summer, get Graham Potter or random manager from a foreign league - and we'd probably want to hire him back by Jan because our owner has stuffed it up again and the...

    Dyche; A Great Achievement?

Hitting the nail on the head. Being that figurehead must be tough when your employers are letting you down - and he seems to have been the stubborn but pragmatic type we needed. I see he is being vocal about it now “And the reason for that is this job is not the one that got pitched to me...

Brexit=Boris & Farage ambition blind ambition = economic fail, whether Everton or UK

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

At some point 'good management' has become synonymous with 'football philosophy' - but really Dyche is an excellent manager - he's had much more to manage than most of the league this season. The criticism is on 'in-game management' - but that's only a part of the package - especially if the...

Brentford battered Luton at theirs so that will be a tough game + we may be a bit tired ? Anyway, maybe Brentford can't be bothered and we sort it.

In a way he would probably be victim of any relative success - if the club stabilises financially and we are comfortable in mid-table. Still, he'll have done a good job to get us there.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

The Liverpool love-in from the media is nauseating - good to bring them back down to earth this morning. There are some games to go but (points deductions aside) we are in and around Brighton (who get so much praise), above Luton (who get so much praise) - doesn't Dyche deserve some credit...

    2023/24 Dwight McNeil

Ah - yes you are right, I must be thinking of his second season - underwhelming.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Have to admit - that 15 game run, really poor lack of goals, and the Chelsea game has shaken my faith in him - otherwise I'd say he was the right person for the situation. A much stronger character than Lampard and more pragmatic than Benitez - more trustworthy than Allardyce. I think somebody...

    2023/24 Amadou Onana

Shame, as at one point the Onana + Garner midfield looked like it may have some promise - then Chelsea kind of ruined that.

    2023/24 Dwight McNeil

Seems a bit harsh comparing him to Bily - who apparently scored 2 league goals for us (according to the internet ... sounds about right as I don't remember many) ? McNeil has 10 already. He also works a lot harder and probably helped with a few of our clean sheets too.

I guess they see him as influencer because...he's on Gladiators ? I guess it saves the manager getting fined for complaining, so cost effective ?

Still can't believe they did that - hiring an ex-referee to what ?....influence the referees ? Really whiffy move.

Well done to the team for getting the 3 points anyway - living to fight another season is better than nowt.

The derby will be a horrible game won't it - not hopeful of anything after rthe Chelsea debacle - coming out of it with no injuries or red cards would be nice.

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

Yeah, maybe. I'm no Tory but maybe I'm so used to 'ROI' that I can't see it from any other perspective now. Kenwright used to run the club / fund transfers by borrowing money and effectively giving 'ROI' to other parties through interest payments. It looks like Moshiri is now doing the same...

    777 Partners - New Poll Added 18/10/23

Not an endorsemenrt of 777 - but you do wonder about some fans expectations when they complain about owners taking income from clubs. That's the only reason anybody runs a business. I guess moneybags from the middle-east have distorted things a bit - but even they probaby expect to be taking...

Leverage, asset-stripping and consolidating debt. Going well then. I'm scared to point out any silver-linings in case somebody exploits them for their own profit.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

The contrast for me recently was talking to a mate who's a Palace fan - he was telling me how terrible they were this season - then they go and win at Anfield. I was saying we were worse and then we go and lose 6-0. There isn't really a bounce left with this Dyche team, is there ? They are...

There is a chance he does something to try and protect his investment - but he's spent many months trying to make Everton somebody elses problem and has seemed incredibly reluctant to put a penny more into the club.
