I'm disappointed you're disappointed in the volunteers who run this non-profit platform didn't perform as you'd like them to.

Several moderators, myself included reacted to your multiple reports and collectively spent the best part of an hour working to understand and resolve.

You should understand that you will only see public moderation and so, have little insight in how we handled comments concerning 'travellers'. Most moderation is done via the report facility, and privately.

Ultimately, we're an Everton forum and we expect.Everton discussion. Regarding "you're just happy the thread was back on topic", indeed - we don't want to, nor will we debate politics in key threads such as the new stadium thread a week the designs are released. We won't allow threads to be sabotaged by nonsensical ramblings. We warned members publicly and privately.

If you'd like to discuss travellers because you have family who are travellers -great, I'd ask you, as I've told others, to do it away from GrandOldTeam. There's tons of places on the world wide web more suited for that - we don't welcome the discussion here.

thats the point though i didnt want, nor did I engage in a discussion, it wasnt people discussing an issue, it was ppl slagging of a whole minority. If tommy had said what he said about black people he would have been banned.

You can argue over semantics but by 'discuss' or 'discussion' - I'm responding to your claim we would have ignored the comments because we only care about ensuring threads weren't on topic - not true, we don't welcome or engage any debate on any race. We never have, never will.

If you feel that way and hold such a dim view on the forums moderation then I suggest you use another Everton forum.
