Do I detect a certain Peter Marinello in the far distance? He was going to be the next George Best in the late 60s. A beautiful looking guy it must be said.

One time, my chum and I were playing in a local park in North Edinburgh when PM and his mates turned up and started kicking a ball around. Footballers used to do that in those days.

What speed he had. Incredible. I suppose that's the secret.

He autographed our white "gymshoes" and my T-shirt!

Went to that one Joey.Main stand first time.Dads mate got 3 tickets! I predicted 3-1.We hammered them that day.

My older brother reckons apart from the paddock? boys pen area you used to be able to walk all around Goodison terraces from the corner to the Glawdys street ....ie you could change ends easily at half time .......
