His positioning seems to have improved immensely. Maybe it’s playing in a 2 or finally getting some decent coaching but even though his technique doesn’t seem to be much different he’s now getting in the right place at the right time a lot of times whereas before he looked like he was nowhere near scoring regularly.

He is now starting to show striker instincts finally. The remarks from the posters that got vaulted you could say were right at the time it was said. It has been a long slow progress rate by DCL and it has been detrimental to us watching him slowly progress....don't think anyone can deny that. Not DCL's fault that we couldn't find anything close to a striker that Lukaku was for us. Think majority of posters could see DCL had some future and potential but boy, it took a while and it didn't do us any good at the time we cried out for someone to score regular. Still a lot to learn but is still on his progress curve but I just hope it is not another 2 or 3 seasons before we have the real deal.

But the one he vaulted you on was your comparison with Cameron Jerome. He scored 33 in 250 league games, playing all as striker. Lewin has 35 in 133 appearances, not all starts and often used as a right winger and even right wing back. Dreadful comparison.
