....just been out to get my Racing Post, no morning Toffee transfer rumours in that but here’s what’s being said elsewhere this Saturday 29th June;

- Haberturk journalist, Serdar Ali Celikler says Galatasaray are still interested in re-signing Henry Onyekuru on another loan deal but Everton are only looking to sell. Everton want €18m and only Bayer Leverkusen are interested in paying it.

- The Daily Mirror report AC Milan are in crisis, and according to Milan News Everton are keen to sign 22 year old right back, Davide Calabria. Calciomercato say Milan’s 32 year old Colombian defender, Cristian Zapata, is also a target.

- The BBC say Chelsea are expected to demand £30m for 24 year old Centre-back, Kurt Zouma, this summer. Chelsea’s transfer ban is likely to drive up the price-tag for the French international.

- Estadio Deportivo continue to link Everton with Espanyol striker, Borja Iglesias, who scored 20 goals last season. It is suggested the 26 year old has a £25m release clause in his contract.

- FC Nordsjaelland Sporting Director, Carsten Jensen, has admitted no fewer than 20 clubs have been in touch over 19 year old winger, Andreas Skov Olsen. Olsen scored 26 goals in 44 games last season and is linked with Everton and Spurs.

- Everton’s Official site have confirmed 18 year old striker, Manasse Mampala has signed a new contract at the club.

- Everton have been linked with a move for David Neres who caught the eye during Ajax’s sensational Champions League run. The 22 year old winger is reported to have told the Liverpool Echo that he is keen to move to England, but he wouldn’t commit to rumours linking him with a £40m transfer to Everton.

Marca reporting this morning that Adrien Rabiot (linked to Everton last week) will join Juve, 4 year deal, 7m euro per year ( approx £120k per week), probably a large signing fee involved as well.

It's not about whether he's played for us or not. It's about what his value is and how much we should get for him.

Hes a 22 year old lad who's scored 51 goals in 107 top flight games. Hes just won the Turkish leauge (scoring the winning goal) and the Turkish cup (again scoringn the winning goal).

He's very highly rated and the fact he hasn't/won't ever play for is is no reason to sell him for pittance which is what €18m is in this market.

You make a decent point and I kind of agree with you but...

He scored those goals in the Belgium and Turkish leagues. Tosun and Kone score for fun in Turkey. It’s hardly the best mark for quality.

Plus if you sell to European clubs you get European prices. If a PL club wanted to buy him we’d get more, but the problem is that he can’t get a work permit here so he’d be worthless to a PL club.again, this is probably lowering his value. It’s not like we can say “ok, we’ll reject your offer and try him out for a season in England”. Technically he’s worthless to us.

With regards to Nigeria. He can’t even get a game for them a moment. Sitting on the bench does nothing for his value. He was bought for a punt at 9mil. The gamble hasn’t paid off, but if we do sell for 18mil at least we’ve double our money.

I say they should try and insert a buyback clause. Then if he does become a quality player we can get him back here in the end.

I think until pre-season starts and interviews/embargo’s take place the media will just pop names in to fill column space.
